Market at EDITION
Located in the vibrant heart of Madrid, Market at EDITION is located opposite the Monasterio de las Descalzas Reales and next to Casa de las Alhajas. With its own entrance through a beautifully adorned baroque portal crafted by Madrilenian arquitect Pedro de Rivera, the restaurant specializes in Spanish, produce-driven market cuisine, focusing on fresh, high-quality ingredients sourced directly from local markets. Each dish on the menu is inspired by Spanish culinary traditions, presented in a relaxed yet innovative style, offering an authentic and memorable culinary experience to guests and locals alike at The Madrid EDITION.
The interior is a vibrant, multi-layered space with four distinct areas that seamlessly blend to create a holistic experience. It begins with an elegant double-height dining room featuring Castilian-inspired carved dark oak wall panels that echo the ornate detailing of the baroque portal outside. Two striking alabaster and plaster pendant lights by designer Emmanuel Levet Stenne, reminiscent of celestial planets, add to the ambiance. This room flows into a lounge area anchored by a long green marble bar and white oak floors, showcasing original art and elements bathed in Yves Klein-inspired luminous blues. Finally, the space transitions into a more casual, light-filled area with white marble tables and a backdrop of Spanish-inspired hot pink, bold magenta, and bright orange hues, complemented by abundant greenery in antique clay jars.
