Sessions for The Blind Portrait Project
For an experience that fosters connection and renewal through art, The West Hollywood EDITION’s lobby will welcome artist Moral Turgeman to conduct individual Blind Portrait sessions by appointment. Through a 45-second eye-gazing exercise, Moral connects deeply with each participant, capturing their essence in a single, continuous line without looking at the paper. These intimate portraits are part of an ongoing project to connect with 10,000 people around the world through direct eye contact. The project’s web of human connection has reached over 40 cities and 26 countries through over 6,000 participants. Upon the project’s completion, participants will receive their original portraits as a token of shared humanity and presence.Â

Blind Portrait Masterclass
Beyond the individual sessions, Raise the Moral Studio will be holding a unique group experience in Studio 1, to learn eye-gazing and somatic practices to create your own Blind Portrait. Exploring the art of truly seeing and being seen, the guided experience will be led by Biet Simkin, a world-renowned best-selling author and spiritual teacher celebrated for her ability to redefine enlightenment through presence, music, and somatic practices, and Moral Turgeman, a visionary sensory artist whose interactive works explore connection, self-discovery, and the human experience. Together, they craft a one-of-a-kind experience that blends art, human connection, humor, music, intuition, and spiritual tools, creating a space where connection is natural, presence is effortless, and shared humanity takes center stage.Â
As part of the experience, attendees will create intuitive portraits to take home, a reflection of the moment shared.
